Features an elasticated toggle around the head for the perfect fit as well as a cord and toggle under the chin to keep the hat in place.
A lovely wide brim giving lots of great coverage and sun protection (Measures for each size S: 6cm, M: 6.5cm, L: 7cm, XL: 7.5cm).
Material: 100% Cotton Twill outer and 100% cotton lining.

International deliveries vary by country however the expected timeframe is between 5 -14 business days.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will assist you with an exchange, credit note or a refund.
Our policy lasts 14 days from the receipt of your order. Once you have notified us of your intention to return an item please post the parcel back to us within 5 working days.
Unless faulty or an incorrect item was sent the return postage is at the customers cost however once an item is received back Acorn will post out exchanges at our cost.
In the event a refund is provided it will be for the cost of the goods excluding the postage. If an order qualified for free postage but once it is in full or partly refunded it would no longer be eligible for free postage the usual postage charge will be deducted from the refund amount.
To be eligible for an exchange or return, your item must be unworn and unwashed, in it’s original condition, with Acorn Kids swing tags attached and you must also have a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please note there is no change of mind refund on sale items or items purchased using a discount code or credit note. An online credit will be issued to you in these circumstances.

We recommend you wash your Acorn cotton hat with a gentle cool machine wash in a mild detergent.
Line dry in the shade taking care to ensure the shape of the hat and brim are maintained.
Cool iron on the reverse side if required.
Do not soak, rub, wring, bleach or tumble dry.

We were previously using bed head hats but I found their brims, even if the same width as these, don’t offer as much coverage as they flare up/out. These hats flop down to provide better protection. Though would still prefer an even wider brim which seems pretty hard to find for boys. Also found it isn’t as breathable, leaving my son’s head all sweaty. Overall it is good hat though and colours online are accurately depicted.

Thank you for your review of our Khaki Frayed Bucket Hat. We're glad to hear that it offers better coverage compared to other brands you have tried. We understand your preference for an even wider brim and we will definitely take that into consideration for future designs, its a fine balance to get the widest brim possible without interupting vision. In terms of breathability, the frayed hats are a cotton canvas which is perfect to give that frayed look but it is slightly thicker than the usual cotton we use for all the other hats, so I would recommend trying a non frayed hat when you are ready for your next hat. Love this hat! Was looking for a kids hat that had a wider brim for sun protection. I looked multiple places. Finally found one here. Also it's very difficult to find an older kids hat with a strap! The wind can still surprise older kids! The only thing I would change would be to have a safety release on the strap just in case.
