The cap has an adjustable cord and tie around the head for the perfect fit and also a cord and tie under the chin to keep the hat in place.
It has a lovely wide brim (Measures for each size S: 6cm, M: 6cm, L: 6.5cm, XL: 6.5cm) that is reinforced with a foam inner to ensure the brim will stay out of their eyes even when playing in the water as well as a deep back flap for excellent sun protection for their neck and ears.
All Acorn swim hats have been tested and certified as UPF50+ offering maximum UV Protection UPF50+ (Blocks 99% UVA/UVB) in accordance with Australian Standard AS/NZS 4399-1996.
We recommend rinsing your swim hat immediately after use.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will assist you with an exchange, credit note or a refund.
Our policy lasts 14 days from the receipt of your order. Once you have notified us of your intention to return an item please post the parcel back to us within 5 working days.
Unless faulty or an incorrect item was sent the return postage is at the customers cost however once an item is received back Acorn will post out exchanges at our cost.
In the event a refund is provided it will be for the cost of the goods excluding the postage. If an order qualified for free postage but once it is in full or partly refunded it would no longer be eligible for free postage the usual postage charge will be deducted from the refund amount.
To be eligible for an exchange or return, your item must be unworn and unwashed, in it’s original condition, with Acorn Kids swing tags attached and you must also have a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please note there is no change of mind refund on items purchased using a credit note or items from the sale sections. An online credit will be issued to you in these circumstances. (This does not include full priced items purchased during a store wide discount, as these are current stock they are eligible for a refund if not suitable).

We recommend you rinse immediately after use to remove salt or chlorine from your hat.
As the Swim range have a foam layer inside the brim we recommend hand washing with a mild detergent to protect the brim, however if you do machine wash ensure to take out the hat immediately after the cycle has finished.
Do not soak, rub, wring, bleach or tumble dry.
